Consultation
The Consultation Process
The evaluation for treatment begins with a consultation. Although in-patient consultations are preferred, we do offer video consultation as well.
Preparing for Consultation
The consultation process consists of thorough review of the personal history of gynecomastia as well as past medical and surgical history. Of particular importance is the history of past and current medication use as well family histories of diseases such as breast cancer etc. We recommend reviewing these factors prior to consultation in order that nothing is overlooked.
It is important to provide us with details of medication and environmental allergies (environmental allergies would include latex allergies etc).
You will be asked about past surgeries in order to understand how easy the healing process was and how the incisions healed. This allows us to tailor your recovery care plan.
Please take a moment to review current and past medications. If you are unsure of a family history of breast disease, it is best to ask maternal relatives (aunts and grandmothers on the mother’s side) in advance of the consultation. A family history of the BRCA gene is of particular importance and may direct additional diagnostic testing.
Scheduling A Consultation
Consultation may be scheduled in the following manner:
- Calling our office (404-481-5089) to schedule an appointment
- E-mailing to schedule (reddyaesthetics@gmail.com)
- Using the on-line scheduling feature to request an appointment
Consultations for gynecomastia surgery are offered on a complimentary basis.
Virtual Consults
Reddy Aesthetics is pleased to offer virtual consults to clients from other states or locales or for clients who cannot present for an in-person appointment for other reasons. Virtual consultations are conducted via the HIPPA Compliant Zoom Platform and our staff will send the invite once an appointment has been requested. While I find the virtual consultations to be accurate, there is always a possibility that my assessment may change once I have conducted an in-person exam.
